The Town Council of Steady Brook Beach has adopted the Steady Brook Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, 2025-2035. The key changes to the documents since the public consultation #2 consists of the incorporation of the updated provincial government Climate Change flood mapping and associated development and referral requirements.

A Commissioner of Public Hearing has been appointed to consider objections and representations on the Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, 2025-2035. Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation at the Public Hearing shall, at least 2 days before the date set for the Public Hearing, deposit with the Town Clerk of Pasadena, two copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation to Town of Steady Brook, 1 Wilton Street, Steady Brook, NL, A2H 2N2 or by email: [email protected] If no written objection or representation with respect to the Municipal Plan or Development Regulations is received within the time indicated, the Public Hearing may be cancelled.

The Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Town of Steady Brook Community Centre, 10 Wilton Street, Steady Brook at 7 P.M.
